Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Arc of Iroquois County.

As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

The role involves providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.

You will also be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, encouraging social interaction, and facilitating access to community resources.

The overnight shifts may require you to check on individuals in the home a few times during the shift, and you may be required to work weekends, including Friday evenings and Monday mornings.

To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to undergo medication administration training.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive starting wage of $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional compensation for weekend work and completion of training.
