Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee a team of employees, setting performance goals and objectives, and providing coaching and guidance to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
- Production Management: Monitor and control production processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity, while minimizing waste and losses.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality specifications, and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
- Safety and Health: Promote a safe and healthy work environment, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Review and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address any issues.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production managers, plant managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of the plant.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least five years of plant experience, including supervisory experience.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Business Computer Applications: Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar software.
- Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
