Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team at The Haskell Company. As a key member of our transportation design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of civil transportation projects, including roadway design, grading, stormwater management, utilities, pavements, roads, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project strategy meetings and develop design concepts
  • Identify the basis of design for roadway, signing, striping, traffic control, constructability, hydrology, hydraulics, utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach
  • Direct technical efforts of project engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
  • Sign and seal design documents when assigned as Professional of Record
  • Advise and assist owners and contractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and response to requests for information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of transportation design experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Working knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or InRoads
  • Ability to administer an environment for staff to excel, while coaching them to advance their careers
