Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Specialist to join our team at CUES, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. As an essential member of our Detection and Measurement division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our electro-mechanical equipment.

Your responsibilities will include meticulous assembly and disassembly of components, conducting thorough quality testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and executing precise repairs. You will work in a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions to our clients.

About the Role

  • Technical Expertise: Soldering skills, understanding of various measuring equipment, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Analytical and Documentation Skills: Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and test procedures, annotate and maintain repair documentation, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, basic computer skills.
  • Communication, Work Ethic, and Team Collaboration: Excellent written and oral communication skills, good attendance and work ethic, perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, flexibility to work overtime when required, ability to work independently or as a member of a team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Required Experience: Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with building and troubleshooting wiring harnesses.
  • Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Travel & Working Environment: Normal work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, flexibility to work overtime as required, working in an assigned workbench or truck area on the facility, periodically lift up to fifty pounds and spend hours standing, sitting, and/or walking during a normal day.

Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
