Home Health Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Saturday and Sunday case management team. As a RN with Amedisys, you will have the opportunity to provide care to patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes.
The ideal candidate will have one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), a current RN license specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work, and current CPR certification. You will also need a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
In this role, you will perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care. You will promote patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures, assisting patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques. You will also supervise LPNs and HHAs, complete documentation timely and accurately, regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team, and participate in clinical development and continuing education programs.
The estimated salary for this position is $59,280 to $74,880 annually, based on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
