Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Monroe, Louisiana.

This is a 13-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a unique opportunity to work with a top healthcare client and gain valuable experience in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Inject contrast media as required and set technical parameters to optimize image quality.
  • Monitor image data on computer screens and recognize abnormalities to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
