Soliant is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Algonquin, IL. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse caseload of students, providing essential skills development and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of therapy services into the educational setting.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness in students' occupational performance.
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and education to parents and staff.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy, incorporating evidence-based interventions into your practice.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, or a Bachelors degree with relevant school-based experience.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in good standing.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Preferential consideration for candidates with prior experience in educational settings.
