Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy to students, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' communication goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to help set educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
