Role Overview
The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will oversee the entire client experience, from initial assessments to treatment implementation, family education, and discharge planning. Recognizing that each child is unique, therapists will utilize their expertise and creativity to connect with clients, employing diverse therapeutic approaches to find the most effective fit.
Therapy Approach
Our primary therapeutic style is play-based, conducted in a one-on-one setting, although co-treatment and group therapy sessions are also common.
Expectations
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, adept at managing multiple tasks and responsibilities while delivering high-quality service to clients, families, and caregivers.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
- A valid Kansas Occupational Therapy License;
- A Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution;
- A professional liability insurance policy.
Availability
Therapists are expected to maintain at least six available treatment hours after school (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) from Monday to Friday, with scheduling based on individual discretion and clinic needs.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive rate of $47 per billable hour of therapy.
Benefits
While benefits are not available for part-time roles, full-time employees (those providing 25 or more billable treatment hours per week) are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
