As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will collaborate closely with the Environmental Services Director to ensure that all community areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and waste disposal.
  • Adhering to a cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) for designated areas including resident apartments, communal spaces, restrooms, and administrative offices.
  • Collecting and laundering soiled linens while following established health and hygiene protocols.
  • Sorting, folding, and distributing clean laundry efficiently.
  • Communicating supply and equipment needs to your Supervisor and ensuring supplies are restocked as necessary.
  • Coordinating with maintenance staff to report any repairs needed during your shifts.
  • Maintaining effective communication with community staff and residents' families regarding care and well-being.
  • Collaborating with team members and following management directives while also demonstrating initiative and conflict resolution skills.
  • Meeting the physical demands of the role, which may include standing, moving, lifting, and occasionally handling weights up to 200 pounds with assistance.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned to support the needs of residents and the community.

To qualify for the Housekeeper position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • A CPR or BLS certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Internet browsers, Microsoft Office applications, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any relevant HR systems.
