Role Overview

This role will lead the SAP FINANCE Architecture, Template, and Design teams across all of Carrier's business units and Applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in FICO consulting, finance process, and SAP FICO functionality. They will also have experience with finance ERP integration, including bank payment processing, expense system integration, payroll system integration, and master data integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
  • Analyze existing business processes and business data to provide proactive and constructive recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead implementation projects in accordance with Carrier IT's methodologies and governance model, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well-coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture.
  • Control solution development to ensure standards are being observed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related.
  • 2+ years of experience in defining and maintaining global templates and playbooks for finance scenarios.
  • 3+ years of experience in design, delivery, and support of SAP Central Finance and S/4 HANA environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading the finance workstream for a S/4 HANA end-to-end implementation for a global, manufacturing company.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Business process analysis and redesign experience, with strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign, and implementation.
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), and Central Finance (CFIN), with understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
  • Deep understanding of Corporate Finance Processes supported by Central Finance, including central payments, open item management, credit management, and shared services.
  • Working knowledge of System Landscape Transformation Server (SLT), Application Interface Framework (AIF), Application Link Enabling (ALE), and Master Data Governance (MDG) Integration of Central Finance with SAP and other non-SAP solutions.
  • A conceptual thinker with professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate, and achieve results is critical.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight.
