Key responsibilities include:

  • Building meaningful relationships with clients through conversation and companionship
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation to promote independence and well-being
  • Providing medication and appointment reminders to ensure timely care
  • Delivering high-quality care to individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions
  • Treating clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Communicating effectively with clients and their families in a friendly and professional manner
  • Completing a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen to ensure a safe working environment
  • Possessing a valid driver's license and valid Michigan auto insurance
  • Having at least 6 months of caregiving experience (preferred)
