Certification Requirements- Various certifications are essential across different units and specialties, as detailed in the provided documentation.
- Experience in Malignant Hematology/BMT or Oncology is mandatory.
- Oncology experience with ONS Chemo Certification is acceptable, with orientation provided for BMT.
- EPIC Experience is a requirement.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
- Weekend Availability: Required, may involve every other weekend based on unit needs.
- Holiday Availability: Required.
- Call Requirement: Not applicable.
- Float Requirement: Yes, may float to other units if BMT census decreases.
- Patient Ratio: 1:4.
- Typical Procedures: Includes Bone Marrow Biopsy, Central Line Management, and Blood/Bone Marrow Transplants.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH, and ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy course certifications are required.
- Preferred certifications include CPI.
- Government-issued photo ID is necessary, and the name on the ID must match all documentation provided by the candidate.
