Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Photographer to join our team. As a Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing stunning portraits of newborns and their families in a hospital setting. You will work independently, managing your own schedule and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own daily schedule to ensure timely and efficient service to clients
  • Provide 15-minute mini-sessions, posing and handling newborns with care and precision
  • Edit images on site to ensure high-quality results
  • Present packages and explain products to clients, handling sales and administrative tasks
  • Pre-sale administrative tasks, including data entry and other related duties

Requirements
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures
  • Comfortable with commission-based pay and sales experience
  • Experience editing photos and working with digital imaging software
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work some holidays throughout the year
  • Reliable transportation and ability to lift equipment (up to 40 lbs)
Equipment Requirements
  • DSLR or mirrorless camera
  • Portrait lens - fixed aperture preferred (i.e. F1.8 or F2.8)
  • Laptop capable of running Lightroom (no tablets, Chromebooks, or desktops)
  • Speedlite (i.e. external flash)
Work Schedule
  • 9 am start time
  • 2-3 weekdays
  • 1 weekend day required per week
