As a Master Guitar Craftsman at Guitar Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments while enhancing the store's inventory. This position emphasizes outstanding customer service and superior craftsmanship, allowing you to engage directly with musicians and music enthusiasts.

This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including training and certification in sales techniques and product knowledge. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions, ensuring a positive customer experience.

The estimated salary range for this position is $18.50-$26.00 per hour plus commission, depending on background and experience. The job requires a skilled understanding of repairing guitars and foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products.

  • Effective Communication: Understands customer service principles, and able to provide an excellent customer experience. Able to connect with customers in a meaningful way.
  • Selling: Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
  • Training: Able to effectively train learners and communicate info and techniques so that they are retained.
