We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Crisis Respons. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including those with congestive heart failure and arrhythmias.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, and titrate cardiac drips as needed.
- Participate in pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and surgery care, as well as sheath removal.
- Administer blood products and manage central lines and PICC lines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- 2+ years of experience in Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown nursing.
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and remote monitoring.
- Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and surgery experience required.
- Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line/care management, and PICC line management experience required.
- Certification in ACLS required.
- NIH certification.
- Charge experience.
3x12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. No overtime billed until after 48 hours. Will accept 13-26 week contracts. RTO: 7 days MAX. Float requirement: YES REQUIRED. Weekend requirement: 4 per 6 weeks.
