MRI Technologist

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an Imaging Expert, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients in need.
Job Responsibilities
As a MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate MRI equipment according to equipment specifications, producing high-quality images consistently within department standards. You will also be responsible for diagnosing processing problems and taking appropriate action, following good MRI safety practices, and maintaining patient records according to department standards.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current ARRT certification, a High School Diploma or GED, and a graduate of an accredited ARRT Program. A minimum of two years of MRI experience is preferred, along with certification in MR.
Physical Demands
This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, frequently, standing and walking for 31-65% of the time, and kneeling/stooping/bending for 31-65% of the time. The intensity of work is also frequently 31-65%.
