Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of monthly closing documents and related schedules.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, ensure accurate accrual accounts, and analyze cost records.
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, investigate accounting discrepancies, and lead Finance operations on significant projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, propose business enhancements for process optimization, and uphold internal controls.
  • Provide necessary data to auditors, reconcile accounts, and generate ad hoc reports as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or public accounting audit

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle is advantageous
  • CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting and familiarity with Inventory and Costing

To thrive in this position, you should:

  • Exhibit strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Possess robust analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting software
  • Be open to learning new tools and systems, work extended hours during financial closing periods, and demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills in accounting software such as Power BI, Access, or SQL are highly regarded
