Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient CNC Operator to become a part of our esteemed organization, The Reserves Network Inc. This role is crucial to our production processes and provides a chance to engage in a collaborative team atmosphere. Reporting directly to the Production Operations Manager, the CNC Operator will be essential in performing machining duties with precision and efficiency.

  • First shift hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or second shift options available

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:
  • Examine Bills of Materials, Parts Orders, and Manufacturing lists daily to establish job priorities.
  • Implement enhancements in tools and processes to improve departmental and overall production efficiency.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and drills according to job specifications and oversee machining progress, ensuring finished products meet accuracy standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of machinery and workspaces, including monitoring coolant and lubricant levels, emptying chip containers, disposing of scrap materials, and organizing tools.
  • Communicate effectively regarding machining job functions.
Qualifications for the CNC Operator:
  • High School Diploma; additional certifications in CNC Mill/Lathe operation are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience operating CNC Mills/Lathes, including setup and programming.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery and tools, including their design, application, repair, and maintenance, with a commitment to safe operation.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and models, and assess plans for appropriate application, with familiarity in design techniques and principles.
