North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN Clinic for a per diem / prn nursing job in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor student interns and delegate authority to technicians.
- Maintain productivity levels at the organization's target.
- Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients referred to Speech Pathology.
- Remain competent in areas such as ABR equipment and testing, Blue dye test procedure, Bedside swallow evaluations, Video swallows, Routine hearing screenings, and Wheelchair transfers.
- Attend and provide continuing education in-servicing.
- Serve as a mentor for new employees or volunteers.
- Serve as a clinical instructor after one year of experience as a clinician.
- Complete documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner.
- Remain within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies.
- Charge patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment.
- Be competent in the use of computer systems for documentation and charging purposes.
Requirements:
- Hold a current Mississippi License.
- Be certified in CPR.
- Demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment of areas such as Neonates/Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
