General Overview of Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the General Manager and culinary leadership, the Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring a smooth workflow in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production lines efficiently.
  • Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure compliance with packing specifications.
  • Manage the loading, operation, and unloading of the dishwashing machine.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and promptly report any mechanical issues.
  • Monitor water temperature in the dish machine to guarantee a sanitary washing process.
  • Thoroughly wash and properly store all tableware and kitchen utensils.
  • Keep the dishwashing room tidy and well-organized.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of clean tableware is available for both the dining room and kitchen.
  • Dispose of trash from the dish room at scheduled intervals.
  • Handle tableware with care to minimize breakage and loss.
  • Maintain sufficient levels of dishwashing detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as necessary.
  • Be prepared to assist in various capacities to support the restaurant's operations as directed by management.
  • Ensure all products are ordered according to established specifications and received in the correct quantities and conditions.
  • Prepare a variety of food items for cooking using various kitchen equipment.
