Physiatrist - Neurorehabilitation Specialist

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care as part of our rehabilitation network. They will also contribute to the teaching and research efforts within the department, collaborating with colleagues to advance the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct consultative and outpatient services for patients requiring neurorehabilitation, utilizing advanced electrodiagnostic evaluation skills where applicable.
• Engage in teaching and research activities, contributing to the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals and advancing knowledge in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Participate in administrative leadership roles, helping shape the strategic direction of the department and ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
• Must possess an MD or equivalent degree and be board certified/board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license is required.
• Appointment at the Associate Professor level generally requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated scholarly productivity in research, teaching, and/or administrative leadership and service.
• Appointment at the full Professor level typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and evidence of superior stature and national/international reputation in the field of PM&R.
