About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team with patient preparation and positioning
  • Clean and disinfect instrumentation and equipment
  • Participate in quality initiatives and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Accredited program in Surgical Technology or recognized course of training
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, frequent reaching and bending, and occasional sitting. You will be exposed to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles.
