Job Description:
This Product Development Leader will be responsible for overseeing R&D and innovation projects, including managing the stage-gate process of product development and innovation, conducting meetings with local and international R&D leaders and marketing professionals, developing and maintaining R&D project plans, monitoring project work, identifying variances to timelines and budgets, and communicating regularly with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the stage gate process of innovation and renovation from ideation to commercialization
• Develop and maintain R&D project plans, monitor, and control project work
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners
• Monitor and report on R&D performance
• Provide insights on industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, food science, technology, or a related field. 10-13 years of experience in marketing or product development within CPG food manufacturing. 5+ years in product development or NPD management. CAPM certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
