About the Role

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a consulting environment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting various engineering teams with project work, ensuring excellent service delivery for mechanical engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Problem Solving and Project Planning: Utilize your expertise to identify and resolve complex mechanical engineering issues, while planning and executing projects from start to finish.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems, means, and methods, materials, and industry standards applied to design work, to support various teams.
  • High-Performance and Sustainable Building Practices: Knowledge of and experience with high-performance and sustainable building practices is preferred, to ensure the delivery of innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to execute projects, and as necessary, support specific sales, proposal, and project efforts.
  • Design and Technical Work: Produce design and technical work for building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards.
  • Scope and Fee Determination: Assist in determining the scope and fees for proposed engineering services, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer Registration: Possess a Professional Engineer registration in the USA or be eligible for registration.
  • Experience and Leadership: Have at least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with some leadership experience.
  • Knowledge and Application: Demonstrate a solid understanding and application of mechanical and/or plumbing requirements per building codes, energy codes, and other related standards.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • LEED Accreditation: LEED Accredited Professional is preferred but not essential.
