  • Perform a complete physical exam and record findings.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
  • Establish presumptive diagnosis and refer as needed.
  • Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan.
  • Administer medications and injections according to protocol.
  • Interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention.
  • Prescribe medication, conduct non-invasive procedures, and perform surgery.
  • Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Record patient progress notes, issue diagnostic orders, and transcribe others.
  • Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation with clinical staff.
  • Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Completion of a residency program in cardiology.

Current licensure and certification in cardiology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
