Senior Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business partners to develop and implement legal strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Provide expert legal guidance on regulatory matters, including anti-kickback statutes, false claims act, antitrust, and transparency laws.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Assess and weigh multiple factors when advising on decisions or courses of action.
- Develop and implement company-wide or function-specific policies, processes, and training programs to ensure compliance and foster company growth.
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Minimum 5 years of in-house legal counsel experience advising multinational medical device companies in areas of intellectual property, compliance, commercial contracts, antitrust, privacy, healthcare fraud and abuse, FDA regulatory, corporate, and M&A.
- Extensive experience with commercial contracts, GPOs, and IDNs agreements.
- Expertise in healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including false claims act and anti-kickback statute.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-15%).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- 8+ years of relevant commercial healthcare legal experience.
- Experience with FDA regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare privacy laws.
- M&A transaction and strategic partnership experience.
- Fluency in German is a plus.
