Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at North 40 Outfitters in Mead, WA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, generating sales, and suggesting products to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, stocking and merchandising products, and safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate sales by suggesting products to customers, providing product knowledge, and promoting sales and promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking and merchandising products, and ensuring that all areas of the store are tidy and well-presented.
  • Safeguard company assets, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive store environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
