Key Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Team Supervisor at Lantech, your role will include:

  • Overseeing a team of 4-6 production associates.
  • Mastering all tasks within the designated area to effectively train others.
  • Filling in for absent team members as necessary.
  • Training new employees and supporting cross-training initiatives as outlined on STAMP boards and Lantech Skill Progression.
  • Ensuring compliance with the production schedule.
  • Assisting with high cycle time tasks and working overtime as required to meet production goals.
  • Responding to the Andon system and communicating line issues, part shortages, and collaborating with relevant support departments to resolve problems while keeping the factory leader updated on line status.
  • Participating in Lean Workshops to understand Lantech's Lean philosophy.
  • Maintaining and updating standard work procedures for training new team members.
  • Utilizing quality loop boards for problem-solving within your area of responsibility.
  • Enhancing workplace organization and conducting daily 5S/Environment audits.
  • Providing feedback on team member performance.
  • Exhibiting a consistent record of excellent attendance.

  • Can read and follow instructions in English (standardized work).

  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can stand for 9-10 hours per day.
  • Can pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening, and background check.
  • Are willing and able to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:

  • Preferred knowledge of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with WinMan and Microsoft Outlook is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills are highly desired.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Participation in soft skills and Lean training for team leaders is expected.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
