Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
1. Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery, including the proper use of chemicals and maintenance of lint traps.
2. Assess stained or damaged items to determine appropriate actions, including repair, spot treatment, or disposal.
3. Conduct thorough inspections of items post-laundering to ensure cleanliness before placing them in designated linen carts.
4. Set dryer settings according to fabric specifications and maintain cleanliness of equipment by removing lint and debris after each load.
5. Fold and organize cleaned items to specified sizes, utilizing both manual and machine-assisted methods.
6. Maintain accurate records of laundered items to ensure accountability and efficiency.

Safety and Compliance
Adhere to all safety and security protocols; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management. Complete required safety training and certifications to maintain a safe working environment.

Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 per hour, inclusive of health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, life insurance, and disability coverage. Benefits are subject to eligibility and other requirements.
