Endocrinology and Metabolism Specialist

Position Overview:

We are in search of a committed Endocrinology & Metabolism Physician to enhance our growing practice in Cumberland County. This position will entail delivering a comprehensive array of services within a modern facility situated conveniently near a prominent medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the growth of Endocrinology services within the community.
• Support the expansion of Endocrinology services in the Cumberland County region, complementing existing services in nearby areas.
• Collaborate with a skilled team, including an Office Manager, Medical Assistant/LPN, and Receptionist, with additional assistance from our Access Center Nurses and Liaisons.
• Manage a varied caseload of Endocrinology and Metabolism conditions.
• Utilize onsite glucose monitoring, phlebotomy, and RetinaVue testing resources.
• Work within a multi-specialty office that provides Podiatry, General and Endocrinology Surgery, Bariatrics and Weight Management, and ENT Services.
• Engage with neighboring practices such as Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Pulmonary, Neurosurgery, Urogynecology, and OB/GYN.

Essential Functions:

Under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, provide safe and high-quality medical care and direct services to patients. Exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan, care for, and deliver services in accordance with Inspira standards.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Medical Doctorate Degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility, with Board Certification to be obtained within two years.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Active New Jersey Medical License.
• Active New Jersey CDS and DEA Certificates.
