DHR Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Women's Health department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative experience.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- Utilize knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
- Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
- PALS, NRP certification within six (6) months of hire.
- Ability to read, write and speak English required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians.
Working Conditions:
Employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his or her age.
