Job Summary
We are looking for a Formulation Development Specialist to perform chemical analysis and testing on raw materials, bulk formulations, finished products, and stability samples. The ideal candidate will have experience with laboratory equipment and a strong understanding of chemical principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new methodologies and strategies to progress products through the pipeline, including method development, qualification, formulation, stability support, and product characterization.
- Assist with sampling and testing of raw materials, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Perform physical and chemical testing of bulk and finished products, including pre-fill and stability samples.
- Stay up-to-date with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to job assignments.
- Dispose of unused samples and laboratory waste in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Clean laboratory glassware to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with laboratory equipment, including High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Infra-Red (IR), Gas Chromatograph (GC), Ultra Violet/Visible, Particle Size Analysis, KF Titration, and wet chemistry skills.
- Strong communication and writing skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Industry experience is strongly preferred and will be taken into account for salary.
