Pharmacist - Clinical Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Experience: Engage with patients to understand their needs and provide personalized care, ensuring a positive and empathetic experience.
- Operations: Perform prescription dispensing activities, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and verification, while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- People & Performance Management: Assist in staff hiring and training, promote teamwork, and foster a shared vision to drive excellence in patient care.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
