Quality Diagnostic Imaging is actively seeking a dedicated mobile ultrasound technologist to join our team as a part-time independent contractor. This role is essential in providing high-quality ultrasound services in various clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport, set up, and dismantle mobile ultrasound equipment at various healthcare facilities.
- Conduct echocardiograms, vascular, and general ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
- Clearly explain ultrasound procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with interpreting physicians, including cardiologists and radiologists, and prepare ultrasound reports for timely submission.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Work autonomously with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- At least one year of experience in ultrasound technology.
- Possess A.R.D.M.S. or CCI certification or be registry eligible.
- Hold a valid driver's license in good standing.
