Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Technologist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As an Orthopedic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians with orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits and procedures, assisting nursing staff as needed.
  • Apply casts, orthopedic splints, bandages, and braces under the supervision of a physician.
  • Adjust and remove casts or other orthopedic devices as directed by the physician.
  • Inspect and adjust bandages as directed by the physician.
  • Maintain orthopedic inventory and supplies in cooperation with the Nursing supervisor.
  • Maintain clean and orderly treatment areas.
  • Ensure that treatments are properly documented and signed.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Completion of orthopedic training program required.
  • One-year experience in applying casts, traction, and braces required.
  • Orthopedic Technologist Certificate, and current BLS Certification required.
