Description:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk II to join our team at Encore Boston Harbor. As a key member of the inventory control team, you will play a vital role in supporting the inventory control manager and cost accountant with tracking and reporting food & beverage inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and implement departmental performance standards.
  • Manage team members under their area of responsibility and foster a positive work environment.
  • Enforce internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, and regulations within the department.
  • Organize meetings with team members and other departments to facilitate open communication throughout the property.
  • Process all inventory transactions in a timely manner to ensure real-time inventory levels.
  • Assist with month-end close preparation, including booking journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze and report on inventory costs monthly.
  • Schedule and participate in physical and cycle count inventories.
  • Maintain data within the inventory/purchasing system.
  • Support other projects, reconciliations, and reporting as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Age: 18 years or above.
  • Massachusetts Gaming Commission registration or license required.
  • High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control or accounting experience required.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Previous inventory/purchasing system experience preferred.
  • Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.

Language Skills:

Fluency in English required; second language a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, respond to inquiries, and write detailed instructions.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
