Job Summary

The Imaging CT Technologist is responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scans. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table for imaging procedures
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration required
  • BCLS required upon hire
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call-back
  • Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
