About the Opportunity

Cole Engineering Services Inc. is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions to the Federal Government and industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Specialist to join our team of experts in developing and implementing cloud-based database solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based database structures to support the needs of our US Department of Defense training program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based database solutions to support software application development, reporting, and analytics.
  • Develop logical and physical database models based on business requirements, ensuring data integrity and efficient data flow.
  • Create and optimize database schema, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures for optimal performance.

This role requires strong understanding of cloud-based database systems, including AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud BigQuery, and experience with cloud migration and deployment strategies.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cloud database design, development, and administration.
  • In-depth experience with cloud database systems, including AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud BigQuery.
  • Demonstrated experience with data modeling, normalization, and indexing.
