We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nursing Specialist to join our team at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assist the primary surgeon pre, intra, and post-operatively with organized instruction and supervised practice.
- Act in the absence of a qualified physician.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- Successful completion of a course in RN First Assisting.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
- 3 years experience in peri-operative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
