Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PHP. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Respiratory Therapist position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
