Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to students within an educational setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering direct speech and language services to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language capabilities to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student IEPs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and generate reports to identify strengths and areas for improvement in speech, voice, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and professional literature to inform clinical decisions.
  • Create a supportive learning environment through effective management strategies and instructional materials.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, collaborative team discussions, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff, focusing on the strengths and needs of each child and their family.
  • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines in evaluations and service delivery.
  • Support teachers in identifying and addressing speech and language challenges among students.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state SLP license.
  • Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
