About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and other M&A activities.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on corporate tax services, including planning, research, and M&A activities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services
  • Partner with senior members of the M&A Tax practice to address technical tax issues
  • Assist clients with current issues, including bankruptcy emergence planning and tax basis
  • Develop, motivate, and train staff and manager-level team members
Qualifications
  • Minimum eight years of experience in federal tax and/or M&A in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent
  • Knowledge of corporate tax matters in various industries
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
