Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Expert to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As an Aviation Technician Leader, you will be responsible for performing a variety of aircraft mods and maintenance tasks, while providing technical expertise and leadership to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards.
  2. Leadership: Lead and mentor team members, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  3. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is completed within the quoted or standard time.
  4. Quality Control: Coordinate with inspection teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  5. Inventory Management: Properly identify and store customer property and equipment, ensuring that all items are securely and safely stored.
  6. Training and Development: Act as a mentor and assist in training new employees in CMPs, maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, Solumina, RS compliance records, and all maintenance of major components.
  7. Problem Solving: Participate in problem-solving initiatives and process implementation, supporting Lean activities and identifying risk and recommending mitigation options to leadership.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, 8 years Aviation Maintenance experience, including 4 years of experience working on Gulfstream mid/large size aircraft.
  2. Skills and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems, FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
  3. Language: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
