Position: LPN - Sage Road Pediatrics
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; Occasional Saturdays 8am - 12pm
Licensure: North Carolina license is mandatory.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administering medications and specialized nursing care techniques as prescribed.
- Documenting patient care and responses in accordance with established protocols.
- Assisting healthcare personnel in delivering patient care and supporting diagnostic procedures.
- Participating in the development and implementation of care policies and procedures.
- Engaging in performance improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe environment for patients.
- Contributing to in-service education and training of new staff members.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of the scope of practice for licensed practical nurses.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Competence in basic life support and other specialized support requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with infection control procedures and safety protocols.
