Perdue Farms, a family-owned company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Salisbury, MD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising crews and teams that receive, dry, store, and distribute grains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the activities of facility associates to ensure safe and efficient grain handling and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as agribusiness requirements.
  • Coordinate with grain merchandising to provide excellent customer service and effective planning for grain movement.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on receiving and storage equipment to maximize availability and longevity.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase facility operating effectiveness and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in grain handling or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of software applications and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
