Fairmount Homes, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Weekend Program team. As a Weekend LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents while working a 24-hour per week schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to residents on the weekend shift, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated critical problem-solving and independent decision-making abilities.
- Ability to interact and work effectively with older adults.
- Support for the mission, philosophy, policies, and values of Fairmount Homes, Inc.
- Maintenance of safety and infection control standards, following state and federal regulatory guidelines.
