Colorist Assistant

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Colorist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, supporting our Licensed Colorists, and learning the skills necessary to become a Licensed Colorist in 3-9 months.

• Provide exceptional guest experiences, ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied with their service.
• Support our Licensed Colorists in providing seamless guest experiences, from arrival to departure.
• Learn and master color theory, hair care products, and behind-the-chair application skills.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and company asset security.
• Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing the average service ticket and promoting additional services, memberships, and subscriptions.

• Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience.
• Effective communication, strong problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
