Cashier Assistant

Job Summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a skilled Cashier Assistant to join our team. As a Cashier Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scanning and/or entering numbers on the register, lifting and moving goods, making change, and bagging orders. You will also be responsible for special projects as directed, including restocking returns, replenishing front-end items, cleaning, and assisting with carts.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
* Scan and/or enter numbers on the register
* Lift and move goods up to 50 lbs.
* Make change and bag orders
* Assist with special projects as directed

Requirements

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
* Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
* Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job

Working Conditions

* Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
* Job cycles: continual maximum
* Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
