Position Overview

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Systems Officer to join our team, contributing to a vital intelligence community mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the information assurance initiatives for various programs, organizations, systems, or enclaves.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Conduct or evaluate technical security assessments of computing environments to pinpoint vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management, providing recommendations for system-level solutions to meet security requirements.
  • Oversee configuration management (CM) for information systems security software and hardware, managing system changes and evaluating their security implications.
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory. Alternatively, four (4) years of ISSO experience may substitute for a degree.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is essential.
  • Compliance with DoD M IAT Level 1 or higher is required, including certifications such as A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP.
  • Proficiency in current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, and communication protocols is necessary.
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Compensation Range

The typical salary range for this position is between $112,000 and $179,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
